I hate to agree but I just don't know about Myles yet.
No one does but most of you have catastrophe syndrome that’s why you think he’s gonna bomb.

Let me say this clearly- There will never be another Joe Burrow. It’s not gonna happen.

With that said- Alabama won a national title with Jacob Coker, LSU with Matt Mauck, Georgia almost did it with Freshman Jake Fromm.

Myles will never be Joe but he absolutely could be a championship level QB

big downfield throws. He had limited throws with mostly backups who will be better next year but were still also limited players this year.

You'll have to define "big downfield throws" as well. I saw what I would consider two downfield throws in his 40 attempts this year.

Me either! I’m not saying he can’t be good but nobody here can honestly say he will be great based on what he’s done so far! Some on here are already declaring him the starter.

Sometimes it kills me that people had no idea how magical last year was for us. You don't just have perfect years with the best team or offense ever each year. Brace yourself, even if we had retained everyone, there would still be a good chance of us not repeating. However, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy what this team accomplished last year and also enjoy the difference of this coming year.

Chances are, there will never be another qb performance as good as the season Joe Burrow had with us at LSU. That doesn't mean everyone will suck though. Brennan has a HUGE arm and throws one of the tightest spirals I've seen. He has had a tenancy to overthrow to the backup receivers which had made those darts hard to catch. However the last few times, he seems to have put more touch on the ball. If he's the starter, then I think we'll be just fine.

However, I've learned to just trust what they're doing and the binder. I always thought that was a joke until this season. But after the masterpiece I just witnessed in this year, I feel like Coach O has the team's best interest 100%. We 'ranted' about every move that has been made and yet, for once moment in time, we were all together enjoying a perfect season.

One thing that stood out to me was that floating shotgun snap. That disrupts the timing on everything.

He was put in when we were up by 40. That’s why there were no down the field shots.

It's sad that this needed to be explained to the OP. God we have some dumbass posters on this site.

You mean our playcallers didn't take shots downfield with backups and a 30+ point lead? Shocking I tell ya!

Hmmm, I caught some shite around here for merely asking about Brennan, so be careful.

Because Coach O got on the radio the other day and said he was. As of right now, Brennan is the starting quarterback.

He mentioned the freshman coming in, and Parrish already on the roster, but they will have to come in and beat him.

With his experience learning directly behind Burrow, I would be very surprised if he isn't the guy.

I see it ignores his INT's and Vandy Pick 6!

All I'll say is fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that video. Seeing that 2017 offense with the heavy max protect formations still pisses me off.

Yes. Just like Burrow's highlight video from last year ignored all of his INTs and Pick 6.

Idiot.

His footwork has always bothered me a bit, something not quite right, and not just the "happy feet"...never seems properly balanced when he throws.

But obviously strong arm, accurate, quick release, and seemed to get more comfortable as the year progressed.

Maybe the happy feet help him to be mobile when he has to be. Already has momentum and not having to start moving again from a solid plant.

Yeah it makes perfect sense to air it out when you're up 30 and in mop up duty

I think Brennan will be really good. Only concern I have is that he was a little late on some out patterns and those can be a pick six. The TD pass he threw to Racey in the A&M game that went for a touchdown was a split second from being a pick 6.

Wtf do you mean he's wrong? He didn't state an opinion about brennan one way or the other. He said he doesn't know just like all the rest of us.

Brennan with Chase and Marshall may be better than Mett with Beckham and Landry, numbers-wise
