That breed was made to protect sheep from wolves. A 65lb pit should've be easy for it to handle.

Guess that dog was named Moon Moon.

TigerBR, Paul Allen and MR Clean coming up on a 3 way rib kicking session. Great Pyrenees watching in background.

According to friends who had two Great Pyrenees, the dogs early on fixate on what they are going to protect. In one case my friends got the puppy and the husband had to go out of town to work. The dog fixated on his wife and would protect her and ignored anyone of questionable disposition who might approach her husband. (which might mean that the GP didn't see any danger to his owner, so he stayed calm.)
Also the GP coat is so massively thick that the 'go for the neck' attack doesn't work very well.

I feel like a crow hop followed by a kick to face or ribs would break up a dog fight

I'd like to see that. They are rather docile.

the only way to get a pitt bull to release is to choke it out or stick a finger in it's butt

I doubt that. Those are working dogs, made to protect farm animals, and kill wolves and coyotes. My buddy sells them and they are normally around 140lbs. Unless it was a puppy, the story would have ended differently.

The Great Pyrenees just had minor cuts and hair torn off its neck.

That's because it has a 6 inch shield of fluff to protect it.

Stuff 100 cotton balls in your mouth and try to bite your arm. Let's see how much damage you do.

Should have had one of those Walking Dead Morgan sticks so you could repeatedly stab that mf’er to death. There’s a lot of good info out there where to strike the death blows. The only good pit is a dead pit.
