I must have missed where i told anyone to "stfu".
Link?
And while you are linking, please defend your assertions regarding UK client-state status in a US trade axis.
Thanks in advance.

alright folks here is the deal. The UK has the EU bigtime on these trade deals. See, the EU sells the UK more goods than the UK sells to the EU. We are talking about big time goods like BMW and Benz cars and French Wine. See the EU is wanting to delay Brexit now because of the trade deal. If the USA and UK have a trade deal done within six months then no reason for the EU and UK not to have one done within six months.... EU wants to delay, because the truth of the matter is, the EU can't screw the UK over and that is killing these globalist motherfrickers.

Throw Canada and Mexico into the deal and better the economies of all 4 Nations.
It would create a pretty large Trade network and we could allow other Nations in as we see fit.

I guess we’ll find out, but “what’s best for Britain” is not our concern.

There you go again, awkwardly trying to play both sides.
GB has a top 5 economy within the EU, but not the strongest. A deal with the US gives them a tremendous amount of leverage in the EU negotiations. This is fantastic for GB, which is why BoJo wants it so bad.

Fiat Justitia, Ruat Caelum.
I bet that was the Quid Pro Quo for a trade deal.
I still remember Teresa May and Trump coming out of their first private meeting at the White House to meet the press, May sat through that presser like she had just had a red poker shoved up her arse. You know Trump just reamed her and told her, her days were numbered.

Power of the purchaser. Similar reason China never had a chance vs US in a trade war. Well China sells more than half of their exports to the US, and though I doubt the UK will buy more than half of the EU's exports, I am sure is a good amount. With the UK out of the EU, US will surely tap into some of that market(cars, wine, and dairy products and cheese come to mind). A free trade deal with the US will be huge leverage in negotiations with the EU. Hats off to BJ on this move.

Confirmed. I have it on very good authority that lower level representatives from both sides have been working on a framework for months.

How does one make a unilateral trade deal?
Posted on 1/19/20 at 8:40 pm to Apollyon
I can see Trump giving the UK a "sweetheart deal". It would be best in the long term. It gives them leverage against the EU and a successful UK would not go unnoticed throughout Europe. It could influence other countries on the fence about leaving.

The complete breakup of the EU is not in the USA's best interest long term, they are long overdue for another continental war and we would be forced to get involved.

I guess we have to agree to disagree here. I see the EU as an organization where non elected bureaucrats impose their political policies over traditional democratic governments. I think the EU is every bit as big of a threat to democracy as China is.

I once saw too 90 year olds squabbling in a park.
I thought...they are overdue for a fight.
