There’s always a scene (or more) in his movies where I think the weight of the moment could be better conveyed with deft application of subtlety and nuance rather than him going ham.

Watch what you say or he'll bash your fricking head in with a bowling pin.

He's the best I've seen in my lifetime. So I'm going with no.

No and even if he did, so what. I would much rather watch an overactor who brought a ton of energy onto the screen like a Robin Williams than some boring actor void of charisma.

Yes. A good actor but immensely overrated and over praised.

I see the character and not the actor with regards to Lewis. I can’t say that for most of Hollywood.

No, but he does play a lot of roles that require energyn and passion, especially recently.

Sometimes, but I think he’s great and likely touched in the head.

Wish like hell the Coen brothers or somebody would talk him into a dark comedy.

Also you can see his earring hole in Plainview’s opening speech at the raucous town hall.

Tell young Vallon I’ll paint my bedroom with his blood! Two coats! I’ll festoon my bedchamber with his guts!

Typical pretentious theatre actor, they think the more you yell and the louder you speak the better the performance
