Yet another loophole in the Harry Potter “story”

So Voldemort needed some of Harry's blood to revive himself, and his plan was to have one guy (Barty Crouch Jr.) pose as a teacher (Mad Eye Moody) and get him to train Harry to win the triwizards tournament because he made the trophy a portkey? Why didn't he just make any other object a portkey that he could just hand to Harry? Or just have have the guy posing as the teacher knock out Harry when he had him alone and take his blood? Now that I think about it more, I’m sure Harry bled when he got hit with a bludger in quidditch practice. The fake Mad Eye Moody/Barty Crouch Jr. could have offered to give him first aid and take some blood when Harry wasn't looking.

You could rewrite literally any story any kind of way to make it more “logical”. But then there wouldn’t be a story you dunce.

Because Dumbledore was gay the whole time, that's why!
(It truly doesn't bother me that she confirmed that to a fan that asked. There were enough context clues given to get there. Thought it was a funny enough retort.)
But yes, that is a very convoluted plot. Probably has something to do with spell preparations or some such shite.

I think Harry’s name spitting from the flames out of the goblet of fire was enough of a red flag to signal there was something nefarious and by design in play, so it’s not as if BC Jr could have overtly started to make moves like you’re suggesting or even to act suspicious enough drawing Dumbledore’s attention. Turning the cup itself into a port key made a lot of sense in my opinion because “Mad Eye” seemingly acting with good intentions in helping Harry along the way by ensuring he’d be the one to touch the cup was better writing because it made the twist later revealed all the better. And, I think she’s having to constantly rewrite the HP universe because the Woke culture demands it.

The dumbest thing in the Harry Potter universe are the rules of Quidditch. The scoring system is absurd.

Harry's blood had to be forcibly taken so getting blood accidentally spilt would not have worked.
The plan was to portkey Harry take his blood kill him and send him back making it look like he died in the maze therefore no one would know Voldemort was back. It would have been a lot more suspicious if Harry just disappeared in the middle of the year.

Voldy didn’t even need Harry’s blood, he could of used any enemy. It did have to be forcibly taken, so no just finding blood after Harry got hurt.
For the sake of arguing for the book, reasoning was to do it that way to not alert the magical world to Voldy’s return and take out Harry in the shadows while leaving Crouch as a spy with Dumbledore.
Real answer though is it wouldn’t of made an interesting book to skip all the dumb evil bad guy stuff.
