If so what was the crime? I’m not one nor is any in my immediate family.

How close we talking? I have a cousin that's serving a life sentence for drug trafficking. But he's not a close cousin. I only met him once before he got popped.

Money laundering, wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, fraudulent use of a credit card, theft by deception, and general frickery.

When the Secret Service investigates your crime, you know you have reached a new level.

Cousin. Don’t know what he did, but he is the poster boy for turning your life around. Dudes a millionaire and owns a couple of businesses

No family, but a good friend I grew up with. I went to college and he went to prison for drug trafficking. Spent 10 in the clink. Too bad, too. He was a valedictorian of his class and “took a year off to figure out what he was going to do.”

Nothing worth bragging about

Convicted? No
Never convicted
Never convicted

Yes, but they both died of OD before they had to do any real time. Both were popped for possession / intent early in their druggie lives. Then they backed off to more petty crimes to support the habit. Safer that way. Then they died.
Isn't suicide technically a crime? If so add 3 more to the list.
Well off people too. Not one poor or destitute until the drugs really took over.

None in the family but I’ve known several. But I have a good one.
Last house I had about 20 years ago my neighbors stepson robbed a bank, I think on Greenwell Springs Road not sure. He didn’t know the kid had stolen one of his pistols and used it but regardless they identified him and his address which was my neighbor although the kid had never lived with them.
2:30 AM I hear a beating on my front door. Scares the shite out of me and I look out the window and cops everywhere. I’m wondering what the frick and go to the front door-now fully fricking awake- and open the door. As soon as I open it fully expecting a bad confrontation another cop crossing my front yard yells at the cop at my door “it’s the house next door Phil!” He looked at me and said “sorry-go back inside”
I was like frick.
Kid was sleeping in the car in garage, they arrested him and he’s still in prison.

Yep, my uncle adopted a bad egg back in the day. He's in jail for a while for attempted murder and diddling kids. POS.

Yes. Dad was a major narco back in the day. He did a 20 year stint for “conspiracy” since they couldn’t actually catch him.. nothing to be proud of, feds took everything from us when I was little.

Not close family but a receptionist at a dental clinic stabbed another woman several times, killed her, but is now out after 18 years served. Currently, she is the most considerate and sweetest person at the clinic.

My current girlfriends younger brother served 10 years in jail for sticking up a gas station / convenience store. Have not met him yet, but for someone reason I suspect I will like him.

My dad’s first cousin was busted for running coke from Miami to where they lived in Oklahoma. Did his time and has been a bounty hunter for as long as I’ve known him. He’s actually friends with Dog and has been on the show a few times
