I’m gonna start a Twitter report that there is a liberal war against saying God bless you after a sneeze.
Once Fox and Friends gets on it, half the country will be saying an Our Father for so much as a hiccup and a full rosary for a loud fart.

It's not a "courtesy", it's a stupid fricking custom that requires you to thank another human being for noticing a goddamn bodily function. A bodily function that often times slings airborne pathogens and snot and boogers and maybe even blood all over the fricking place. That shite should be no more blessed than a wet fart.

Goes back to pneumonic plague days. Virtually 100% fatal and very contagious, spread by sneezing. The God Bless you indicated a worry that anyone sneezing was about to be dead.
So, what you want folks to say to you is, "May you get plague and die."

Did all the people saying god bless you determine if the sneezer went to heaven or hell?
Had a professor get irritated when someone said bless you ten times to someone sneezing and he finally said “HES NOT GOING TO HELL IF YOU DONT SAY BLESS YOU!”
