How would one go about keeping a slab from turning all dead and brown?

I live in an apartment; thinking about planting one in a container and putting it on the balcony. Think that might work?

You'd have to plant it in some rich dirt, water it and put some "Winterizer" type fertilizer on it. If you can keep it alive during winter. it will green up in the Spring. Seriously, I 'd plant it in a box of soil, and leave it outside, but bring it in during freezes......

I'd prefer mine to have some history attached to it.

Good luck. That’ll be harder than getting a ticket to a joint Pink Floyd/Led Zeppelin Reunion concert.

Lol, y’all are silly. I went to the stadium this morning, walked on the field and got some.

Sad thing is they only stripped about. A quarter of the field, not even the good parts.

Said most of it is getting thrown away.
