They absolutely want to make money, no doubt...but indoctrination is also what today's movie makers and television show makers are out for especially in children. It may be the fact that they believe (the way a college professor with no real life experiences believes) that people want to see cross dressers/trannies, bashing of white men, gay lifestyle acceptance, etc. and that it will indeed make them more money because of the virtue signalling points (which is equally as stupid as pandering to 2.3% of the population and alienating the others).
