He kinda was, though. Slower starter but faster top-end speed. Not that that helped him in football. Dude had bricks for hands.

Kneeling a kickoff on the 1 was fresh, though.

Trindon ran a faster 40m and 60m than Carter and they ran the exact same time in 100m. Carter had a faster 200m. So football speed Trindon was faster.

Holliday was never scheduled to appear at LSU's camp. So David Masterson, Holliday's high school coach, took Holliday along also. After initial workouts, Holliday ran the 40 in 4.28 seconds wearing high top basketball shoes. The time was so outrageous that the LSU coaches began arguing if they had started their stopwatches on time. "They asked me if Trindon could run it again," Masterson said. "He didn't even get in a track stance. He ran the second 40 in 4.27. He's one of those little freaks of nature." Despite this, LSU coach Les Miles still considered canceling Holliday's scholarship offer until holdover offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher convinced Miles that Holliday could play at a college level.[28]

That's some Rookie of the Year type shite

Bennie Brazell was NOT a 100m guy...he was a 400m hurdle guy. Holiday has the fastest 100m time of any of our football/track guys. Trindon had a 10.00 100m compared to Carter’s 10.09. 200m & 400m were Carter’s specialties.

Carter ran a 10.00 flat in Eugene, Oregon in 2008.

I guess he meant while at LSU.

Trindon running down the Auburn guy after Perrilloux's fumble in '07 was the fastest I've seen someone run on a football field.

Carter wasn’t an LSU football player in 2008

Underutilized at LSU. Missed opportunity to have him play defensive end. Imagine that edge speed.

In high school, Slip (playing for St. Thomas Aquinas, Ft Lauderdale) ran past me (playing for South Plantation HS, FL) like I was moon walking. Honestly, I wasn’t even mad...he was a fricking blur.

Kary Vincent ran a 10.07 4th best in LSU history this past summer. Though he doesn't look near that fast in terms of football speed.

He literally didn’t even have NCAA medalist speed at 100m. His best non-wind aided time was like 10.25.

We were so excited when he arrived and he burst onto the scene with a incredible play on a pass out of the backfield for a long TD vs Cal State Fullerton. But after that never could translate that speed onto the field for whatever reason.

Dude he was a 6 time All American sprinter for the track team. Finished 3rd in the 1988 200 and 6th in the outdoor 200, placed 4th in the 200 meter indoor in 1990, won the 55 and the 200, ran a 10.18 outdoors in the 100 and was the anchor on the LSU record holding 4x100 relay team, and that’s not even half of his track accomplishments. He ran a 4.3, 40 and a 9.3, 100 yards

I’m just here to say I got high with him in his car in college. Just me and Xman (whom I had never met until that night). Totally random and unforgettable night. Lol
