Let's say you're putting together a quote for someone and after punching everything into your calculator, it shows the total to be 400.8545. Do you tell the customer the total is 400.85 or 400.86?

Most proposals I look at round just like you would in grade school math. So for your example, I would expect to round down.

always add 10% markup
