Very logical analysis. My biggest question is how good the Florida Defense really is. On paper they are good, but that is vs 2 FCS teams, and 3 horrible FBS teams. 10 sacks vs Miami, jeez! I expect this to be a close game because it is LSU vs Florida, but I also can see this very easily being a 41-10 type game.

the LSU/UF rivalry has been visceral for decades. This isn't new.
We will see how good UF Def is against a real offense. LSU will also see what the OL is really made of. They have been OK but the run blocking hasn't been great. I don't think LSU can rely on consistent run and pass blocking against the good UF DL. I think play calling will be used to help out the OL and with screens, misdirection, delayed handoffs, quick routes.
It will be a hard fought battle with LSU pulling away in the 2nd half. I wish I was there.

Great post. I think you nailed all the salient points. Both of LSU’s lines have to play better than they’ve played thus far.
