Have been rolling with no cuffs on my regular dress pants for a few years now but time to get a new suit tailored and not sure how GQ OTers are rolling these days.

I hate cuffs only slightly less than pleats.

And don’t do the skinny thing with no socks and loafers either.

No cuffs. Don't get that skinny shite, shiny shite, double breasted or anything with 6 buttons across the top. Get a nice fitting(tailored for you) regular suit that will stand the test of time. Get it in black, blue or gray. /END

Cuffs is a more formal look.

If you are the type to not wear socks with a suit, cuffs would make you look more silly

Downvotes indicate some no sock wearing mofos in this thread.

Actually I would say the belt and shoes are what makes the suit more or less formal if we are talking regular suit. Cuffs are a take it or leave it situation. You won't look bad regardless but if you are wearing sperry's with cuffs you'll just look ridiculous.

This. Well, at least for the first two. Not really sure about jean shorts (thank god).

No cuffs.

They get in the way of looking dapper with an ankle alarm bracelet.

I would like to retract my statement on double breasted suits. They do look solid on some people. Just not all people. I am a fan of the 3 piece that I can use with the vest, without the vest or even without the jacket.

People do die and it's normal for a professional man to wear a black suit to a funeral.

Actually, the not wearing socks accomplishes that all on it's own.

EDIT: Which would apparently be why you put the word more in there.

Cuffs! I’m also a fan of pleats. Dress pretty traditional for my age, I’m 31 haha. The no cuff look is just cheesy imo. Not a fan.

Black is only for winter formal stuff or funerals. Or Ray Donovan.
