This.

Wool and gabardine suits are cuffed while cotton are not.

And @Broke, those suits look like you're walking out of Express for men. Lame..

It's a regular fricking suit? Do you want sparkly pinstripe or something? I don't get it.

I was actually talking about the one on the right. The one on the left with the 2 pockets and the really pointy lapel is weird to me. But I don't judge. Wear what you want.

No, just a business owner in a professional field. Which I believe was your requirement. I also have the same suit in blue which can get confusing and I have to ask my wife to make sure I'm not wearing black pants with my blue jacket.

They you are in the minority. Black is for funerals or formal occasions that don’t require a tux.

ETA: not applicable for pinstripe or other designs, talking straight black

When you wear a suit as much as I do you have to have multiple colors. There are only so many styles of blue and gray that you can wear. And I'm not going African American preacher style. That's wayyyyy out of my comfort zone.

Ok this changes things. I have small pinstripe and a tad wider pinstripe for work. All black is only for funerals for me.

I didn’t know you were allowed to wear a black suit outside of a funeral once you were older than 12.

. A tuxedo should be black. Period. End of discussion. Peak or shawl lapels only. A notch lapel is not formal. Black tie is for uniformity amongst the party guests. It is not your tile to show up in a lavender or midnight navy dinner jacket.

Not true. Midnight blue was the original. I recently wore a midnight blue one to a wedding — it’s very subtle and I got a lot of comments on it.
