Did you go to church camp when you were younger?

I did in jr high and it seemed there was a lot of inappropriate stuff going on. Church was just a pretense for all these kids going off to party for a weekend

Lost my virginity at one in South Padre Island, TX.
Best 17 seconds of my life up until that point.

Ever go on an after Christmas ski trip or a summer choir tour in youth group?

Lot of sex and drugs at those things.

A few times with a friend and his church group. My church(Catholic) didn't have anything like that. This was a United Methodist camp. Touched my first real boobies at Camp Sumatanga. They threatened to send me home for skipping the chapel services.

I did when I was 12 and had a good time. It was actually Royal Ambassador Camp which is a Baptist organization similar to the Boy Scouts.

Heck, our youth group went to Gatlinburg after Christmas in 1982. Me and another guy skipped the night meeting to watch Bear Bryant's last Liberty Bowl. In the room of some people from a completely different church. Who apparently ratted us out. Because our Youth minister and one of the other parents came and found us. We had to talk them out of sending us home. There was much repentance involved, maybe even some bottom lip quivering. I mean... it was Bear Bryant's last game. They shouldn't have been holding a meeting at that time anyways.

Human nature still exists at church camp, same as everywhere else.

Camp Abbey when I lived in Louisiana at St Joseph Abbey. I loved the frick out of it. Was sad when we moved away and I couldn't go anymore. Want to send my daughter there when she gets old enough.
I also went to a place called Victory Bible Camp in Alaska out past Palmer and Sutton. I was a little Atheist a-hole by then, but the camp was fun as hell outside of the indoctrination. Had a cowboy portion that I enjoyed a hell of a lot more than the first time I got sent and stuck in the fricking native version where you had to sleep in freakin teepees.

We had "Vacation Bible School".
It was somewhere our Parents could send us in the Summers.
Had some great Kick-Ball games though.

I once joined church youth group just so I could go on the annual trip to Six Flags.

Yes
I always will wonder about the number of girls from around the state I met that you couldn't really keep in touch with back in the day after camp was over.
Now with Facebook, etc I wonder if things, or my life, had turned out differently.

some kids went to Stubenville, but they were either hyper god nerds or they were ugly, most times both. Never heard about anything inappropriate going on unless you count subjecting kids to that bullshite.

I went to a secular camp for six weeks every summer from 7 years old until I was 14. Loved the shite out of it. I'm sure my parents did, too.
Water skiing, trail rides, ropes courses, making out behind the lodge, and giant games of capture the flag. What I would give to go back.

Yes, but it was a super conservative church camp where they thought playing "spin the bottle" was dangerous behavior
