I cant get Transtar website to load.

Does anyone have an alternative for finding flooded roads?

Waze is a pain because the flooded areas just show as a hazard sign until you tap on the icon.

I'm safe. Working from The Woodlands for now. Will head out to Cypress in a little while.

Thanks to all who texted to check on me.

Baytown had the tornado yesterday that hit nothing. Today I think they got out ok?

Mont Belview maybe not. It’s creeping toward winnie which got shite whipped. Don’t know how far west the shite whipping went. Anahuac?

I have a pipeline project in Mont Belvieu in theTarga plant which is somewhat close to I-10. My Supt just rode out there and texted me and said the site is flooded and we should not go back to work till Monday, but that is to be expected after 20+ inches of rain. However the interstate was open if that’s what you wanted to know.

Safe here. Was supposed to drive to Louisiana today, but I don't think that's happening. Guess I'll just stay at work.

Transtar sucks. It’s accurate and useful but very “Windows 98” the traffic on that site today I bet has them scrambling.

I had two crews headed to Mississippi from San Antonio this morning, one made it to Lufkin and went east and made into LA around noon, the second was about hour behind him and is flooded out and stranded on 59 just south of Splendora, he said there are dozens of vehicles stranded along with them and 59 is closed just north of where he is at. Wreckers are saying they can't get to them, might be a long night.
