Unlike Taco Bell, Taco Bueno, and others, they serve alcohol. Their menu is also more "upscale".

I was surprised to see that Taco Cabana sells alcohol

Breakfast tacos run around 3 dollars, and you only need 2 to fill you up.

One Dirty Sanchez should be plenty for breakfast. That thing is huge and delicious. I know it's not one of their cheaper breakfast tacos but it is basically a breakfast taco.

Torchy's has lost a step recently. Not nearly as good as it used to be.

I just thing a lot of people in Texas have gotten burned out on it. I will say their consistency from store to store can be disappointing. I have eaten at ones where it tasted noting like the real torchy's.

It’s actually no bad price wise. Less than $5 and basically the whole tortilla is covered in food. Two tacos and a beer is generally just over $10.

Yeah 1 for breakfast should for sure be enough, I usually get the breakfast tacos when I eat their no matter if it’s breakfast or not tho, that’s why I say 2 will fill you up as a normal meal

It’s fricking good. That’s how.
The original is good. Will the chain store be as good? Doubtful.

those look like 5 dollar tacos. a 5 dollar taco place wont last in BR.

how much would a plate of 3 tacos cost?

This was Friday morning, was under $10 (without a drink)...two different breakfast tacos and Trashy Trailer Park. It was as awesome as ever. Basically a couple bucks more than Taco Bell for an incomparable quality upgrade.

I’m stoked to have Torchy’s coming to Shreveport. I love that place and seek it out any time I’m in Texas. Hopefully it’s a south Shreveport location so I no longer have to drive 20 minutes to satisfy my taco craving at Ki or Parish.

People will find anything to bitch about. Torchy's isn't the best tacos I've ever had but they are damn good and will do fine here. I think a Rudy's country store would kill it in BR too. Our BBQ options aren't the best.

The line was out of the door 2 Sundays ago on Lamar in Austin. The decline is not real news

I have to say, I really like Torchys. But its ridiculous that a restaurant with (relatively) quality ingredients uses tortillas that I'm pretty sure I can buy at Walmart. Buy a damn tortilla machine and make them fresh.

Meh, I've been twice in Austin, and it was kinda hit-and-miss with me. I really don't understand the hype.
