St. George gonna frick up John Bel Edwards who's done more than enough he could to help Broome steal their tax dollars and stop their autonomy.
This election should've been held back in May and Edwards delayed it to October to help out Broome.
I hope they can prove that he made a big mistake doing that.

I would love it if he lost in the primary by something close to the number of folks who signed the petition.
That little favor also cost the City of BR some tax revenue until a transition committee bill is pass in the legislature. Without the transition committee, NO ONE can collect the 2% sales tax.
I hope the opposition delays the start date until AFTER JBE is voted out of office so that a new governor can appoint the first officials for SG.

As Coach O said, "We're coming and we ain't backing down".

Baptist Church!?
Better government!?
Local control!?
Trigger words all.
As someone who does not live in Louisiana and knows little about St. George, am I off base in assuming you pro St George people have been called racists?

Whatever it is, it’ll start off with “Guhd aftuhnoon...guhd aftuhnoon...” from his mom’s driveway (all the better to latch onto the neighbor’s WiFi).

Of course. Anything that liberals don't like is racist, and liberals REALLY don't like it when you try to make a better life for yourself while taking away their slush fund.

Per the BR Business Report, Together Baton Rouge is holding a "Community Civic Academy" on the St. George issue tonight. I'm sure it will be completely impartial with all sides represented.

Do you know how percentages work? MORE people will come out and vote in the St George area. These people aren’t voting for JBE. The more total votes in the election means the more votes JBE needs to get over 50%. A higher turnout in areas that don’t like JBE means it’s more likely JBE doesn’t win in the primary.

Skinny doesn’t understand anything his delegate baw at the Local 302 doesn’t explain to him.
