Twitter just whacked the #HongKongAirport hashtag and scrubbed it from all lists

Why would Twitter be protecting an authoritarian situation where the Chinese government may be moving in on protestors?
Not to to mention that the hashtag was being used to update travelers on cancelled flights and the like.

Jack and, by extension, Twitter gives lip service to anti-authoritarian positions when it involves Trump or Republicans and conservatives.
As progressives and a business wrought with progressive ideology, they likely support the Chinese government in its current endeavors.

I just tried #hongkongairport on twitter and there are many posts in the last few minutes with that hashtag in the tweet.
