I'm guessing that's somewhat heavier than his ideal, but that's certainly a playable weight for a true nose tackle. Looking forward to seeing him this year for large number of snaps per game

340 is right where they wanted him at this time I believe. He'll continue to lose weight in camp before the season.

He will give us the depth we need at the position.

Think it is normal to show up heavy for camp knowing players typically will lose weight going thru the rights of camp.

He'll have to maintain that weight throughout the season, which will be more difficult than doing it during the offseason.

This is a good weight for Tyler and can only mean he is serious about contending for punt return duties.

The coaches will be ecstatic at this.

That number is kind of a best case scenario.

That’s fantastic. At this same point last season, he was a Caniac meal from Raising Cane’s away from being 400 pounds.

....I'll be watching Mr.Shelvin with great interest this season. So plug up that middle Mountain Man and siphon off those O/L blockers. Some pancakes now and then would be nice. Let Divinity et al play cleanup.

Geaux Tigahs!

He’s a mountain of a man.

We are going to be a whole Shelvin this year as he’s in shape and trying to show the scouts what he can do.
