One of the first comments on RealGM about this-

“He kind of looks like Zion if you squint.”

FWIW, I can say with conviction the @hornets are determined to avoid being a luxury tax team next season. That will definitely be a huge factor in all personnel decisions.

JR didn’t even look like an NBA player before he got sent home last season.

Thoughts of a Lakers lineup featuring Wade, Melo, and JR got me giddy.

Melo posting the video of himself in the gym draining 3s just hours after news broke that the Lakers might have to go after some vets to fill out the roster cracked me the frick up.

You think D.Russell would go back to the Fakers, after his first stay there..

Probably not...

I’d let the market dictate his value. I don’t think they need to make that offer right off the bat. I think they can get him for a friendlier deal.

Hes not restricted. You run the risk of him getting upset and leaving for nothing.

What player we talking about? KP IS restricted, as Dallas traded for his rookie deal from New York.

Given KP’s tantrum on his way out of New York, though, he insisted he would sign his QO if it meant the ability to leave town.

All the rumors indicate he is more than just leveraging a better deal.

Unfortnately, I think he might.

I see LeBron is recruiting his crew of flunkies again (JR and Korver). Just waiting on Richard Jefferson to come out of retirement now.

Don’t expect much production from Jake or Duck Dunn.

I think teams will be scared off by his injury history. He’s been injury prone pretty much his entire career. He’s also coming off of a major injury and has not played in over a year. There’s a lot of risk involved for a team to put out that kind of money into a player with a lot of questions on the court and off(rape scandal).

So Ainge shite the bed with Durant / Kawhi / Irving / Davis and his fall back is Kemba...man, he truly sucks as a GM

Durant and Kawhi was never happening, Davis didnt want to go there so he didnt give up their best talent for a rental, which was smart, and he landed Kyrie. He cant help that Kyrie is a crazy person and lied about wanting to stay.

Please learn me something. Why trade for a player if you're just going to release him?

Looks like KD heading to the Knicks or Nets, according to Jason Smith of Fox radio.
