He comes from the proud bloodline of the Booty football clan. His uncles Josh and dad Abram are LSU legends. Do he continue the proud Booty tradition at LSU?

People forget but Abram had an awesome year in 97 (I think he got hurt in 98 and that kind of derailed him?) and Josh was All-SEC in 2000.

Highly recruited in their day, but “legends” is a bit much.

I hope so. He'll probably be a good one.

I heard the legendary story of the supposed 590 ft HR Josh hit in intramural softball at the Rec. It went so far if left the fields towards the Lod Cook.

Expect him to stay out west. USC, UCLA or Cal if he is good enough.

Not sure any of that Booty’s experience at LSU was such to build a lot of loyalty.

Of course they do, but they have several other former players’ kids coming up over the next 3 years..

Caleb Holstein in 2020.. Scott Holstein’s son.
General Booty in 2021.. Abram Booty’s son.
Kyle Wickersham in 2021.. Jeff Wickersham’s son
Walker Howard in 2022.. Jamie Howard’s son.

I hope they do; very smart and great size. Know the family well, I would put this on LSU with USC being close. Lives in San Antonio but ties with Louisiana & Cali.

Had probably one of the best 3 game stretches ever for an LSU qb that year

Deserves an offer solely b/c of his name.

Mickey can still sling it. He was dropping dimes in the BRAAS flag football league a few years ago.

Abram’s best year was 98.

Also, Herb had a great 98 season that got lost in the defensive issues. Like 25 total TDs in 10 games before he missed the finale with an injury.
