Did anyone else pick up in Jay’s postgame presser that he said DD had a broken hamate starting in the postseason?

I’d like to see Pearson play in LF more. He seems more comfortable there and gets better jumps. He definitely has the arm for either position though.

First year short season Class A was $850/month gross. And that was only during the season. But that was 30 years ago.
He used to take bp from his dad at Airline HS. Got to meet him there. He actually was one of the nicest people I ever met, and he was pretty imposing at the time!!!

Jones just needs a little coaching. He’s stepping out on all of his swings, like Milazzo. If they can make an adjustment for him he’ll be raking again.

It looks like Milazzo has been working hard on keeping his front foot down, but he regresses sometimes. Even when he does keep his foot planted, he clears his hips like he’s stepping out and has balance issues where he’s still susceptible to the outside pitch.
Neal is more mechanically sound, but it’s obvious the book on him is a steady dose of changeups he can’t lay off. Once Neal fixes that he will be a force to reckon with.

It was a pretty monumental task to get to this point in such an abbreviated time: extremely depleted roster, new coaches and staff, retaining existing players, recruiting new players, evaluating all players and exorcising the toxic culture, instilling a new culture, installing new training regimen, new offense and defense install, new routines.
There were bound to be assignment mistakes, bad calls, etc.
Given all of this, I’m honestly surprised it wasn’t worse. And I am proud of the fight in this team.
I have no doubt they’ll get it together.
