Watch for Phoenix with AD trade.
DeAndre Ayron..last years #1 pick
T.J. Warren
And their first pick #6
For Davis and hill.
I'd take that deal. Use # 6 to get Garland

That’s not a bad deal at all.

I’ve heard much worse.
Ayton on a long term rookie deal beats most of what other teams could offer us.
Why they would do that is a mystery. If AD hated Dell and Gayle, wait till he meets Bower and Sarver.

Yeah I was listening to that. I don’t see Phoenix being even remotely confident that they could resign him. I’d be pretty surprised.
But that period certainly be an interesting haul.

Phoenix isn’t trading Ayton

How much more?
They are sending back a former #1 pick on a controlled contract for another 4+ years, Warren is pretty good on a controlled deal for about 4 seasons, and they would be taking on Hill’s $13m shite contract.
Maybe throw a pick swap (top 4 protected) on that for next year?

Griff when he was on NBA radio frequently said with respect to an AD trade to watch out for a team out of nowhere in the AD sweepstakes that no one is talking about.
The Hawks qualify as does Phoenix and to a lesser extent the Nets and Bulls. I think PHX wants to make a big move and get to the playoffs, but they cannot possibly convince themseleves that they can get AD to stay once Rich Paul tells them he won't re-sign.

I’d take that deal in a heartbeat

Robert. Sarver.
I think he is deluded enough to think he could fly AD in, leave goats in the locker room, and convince AD to resign in Phoenix.

closer to west coast. fresh organization. devin booker... not as huge pressure to win like big cities... His heart could very well be in phoenix.

Yeah. The one caveat to Phoenix is that after an AD trade they will still have the cash, in theory, for another high salary guy to pair with Booker and AD.
Its possible that they go for it.

The idea of sending one of Dells worst contracts in Hill out the door with Davis would really be hilarious. I just imagine the two of them on a plane together to do a joint press conference with AD thinking WTF....I can't get away from the poor decisions of that organization.

I downvoted you by accident Chad. I see what you did there and I approve.

I was looking at that. Would they have enough for a max with AD assuming Johnson opts in?
I wouldn't mind grabbing Melton from them as a throw in.
On the surface, the deal makes little sense for Phoenix, but sounds exactly like something that organization would try.
