No. I'm not quite there, but I am a bigger fan of Casino that most who love Goodfellas, I think. They're very, very close in quality for me. The overarching story of the skim and the folks behind it, and so forth, is much more interesting (and significant) than the heist crew that happened upon 2 big scores at Idlewild, although both films were extraordinarily well done.

Goodfellas was gripping from beginning to end.
Casino, although good literally had swaths of boredom and seemed to want to educate the audience on the business end more than actually entertain.
As a side note. When spider was killed in goodfellas it upset the shite out of me.

I hate the relationship between Sharon Stone and Deniro in Casino. No way any sane man puts up with that shite. She’d have been in a hole in the desert inside of a year. I get angry everytime she’s on screen.
Beyond that, casino is amazing.
Still like Goodfellas more. It’s a perfect film

I like Casino a lot, but it ain’t Goodfellas. It’s a tier below. It kind of drags a little bit at the end.

Yes, you are alone. No comparison. Goodfellas was 100% better than Casino. But I dont dish Casino. It was a good movie.
