Did the night king have a draft for old white hair and white bearded dudes or something? I always see alot of those guys in his army especially on horseback? All you book readers is there any back stories on this?

To be honest, I don't think the books have made it far enough to truly explain them.

There is probably some subtle hints, because George writes his story with a lot of layers, but if so we aren't far enough along to expose those layers.

Their physical appearance in the show probably means nothing though.

With the exception of the Nights King I think all the white walkers are sons of Craster (the ones he was just leaving out in the woods, like he would have for Little Sam).

Not sure if they just rapidly age or transform after he turns them or what but it's probably part of why they all look relatively the same.

It’s probably easier/cheaper to create one CGI white walker and then copy and paste him a bunch of times than it is creating a bunch of unique ones.

It’s probably just the simplest way to show a difference between whites and WW’s

Night King is clearly sexist. No female generals. What a douchebag

I think Being ice people the hair turns white and they look wrinkly.

I also Imagine they don’t shave a ton.

The Night's King in the books and the Night King in the show are different characters

In the book the 13th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch fell in love with a White Walker, married her, and declared himself the Night's King. 12 of his Night Watch men went with him, he was defeated by combined forces of Brandon Stark and the Night's Watch.

The catechism says that the white walkers were created in NK’s image.

As an audience member am I supposed to be scared of or rooting against the Night King?

He feels like a theoretical bad guy.

People always seem to forget this scene.

Craster baby turned into WW

Yes, White Walkers are made by the Night King. He makes them from human babies. We see him do this with Craster's. I assume he can do this with any baby he gets his hands on. Perhaps even a living adult.
