I know there has to be some good stories between the spillway landing, private canals in the marshes, etc.

Best one I got is it was super high tide down in golden meadow and some Bobby Bouche dad looking guy couldn't fathom how we ended up in "his" canal....I could be mean but I wont.

Not commercial, but was fishing Caminada and some baw got too close to a local fishing his spot. The local dropped his pants and took a shite over the gunwale. The baw had his wife and kids with him and decided to try another spot.

fishing around Breton Island when the trout were on fire a few years ago. everyday was a minimum of 5 cursing/shouting matches and one of the guides was supposed to fight a baw back at the dock. we bought some beer to sit and watch but it never happened.

personally, i'm just not mad enough at the fish to curse or fight someone, but i've uttered some 4 letter words when some idiot comes puttering through the fish and throws out a 20 pound anchor as far as possible and creates a wake with the anchor.

I had a shrimper pull a gun on us two weekends ago in Dularge. Fun times.

Fishing lake Bourne a few years ago

Got on some keepers under birds

A guide came by after about thirty minutes. I wasn’t aggravated until the guy started to get within casting distance to my boat.

I wasn’t pissed until one of his passengers HOOKED MY frickING LINE

He knew he fricked up. I let him know anyway.

I fish to get away from drama not start it but some shite is ridiculous.

We were about 30 minutes from the camp down bayou Dularge and were trying to make it back before dark. Homeboy didn’t park his shrimp boat in a no-wake zone so we ran by it on plane trying to make it back and he didn’t take to kindly to it. Chased us down in his truck along the bayou. Crazy swamp people shite.

My dad and I were fishing. He got a nibble, but didn't set the hook. While he reeled in to rebait I casted right on top where he was.

And you know what he did?

Nothing. Because we don't take fishing seriously. If you fight over shite like that, WITH ANYONE, you ain't an outdoorsman.

Fishing MRGO rocks

Everyone was doing well but there was a baw catching nice trout in the corner every cast. Some brothas in an old raggedy bass boat decided they were gunna go anchor right where he was casting. He caught a trout right off their bow, took it off his hook and literally threw it at them saying something to the effect of “if you want the fricking trout that bad you can have it”. He then rolled out at half throttle to purposely throw a giant wake at them

Was duck hunting one time at big branch. Was set up with 45 min to spare and a guy paddles through my dekes with his son and sets up 50 yards from me. His dekes are literally 5 yards from mine. Held my tongue because he had a boy with him. Flock of greys come in and he sky blasts them as they were working. Got up, picked my dekes up and paddle into his dekes. Stayed there for 20 min till he got the point. He apologized and I didn’t say a word. Left and never hunted that pond again. Hope his son doesn’t learn from his dad.

Almost the same here but it was a guide, we were anchored about 10 ft off the rocks at a cut and he was bound and determined to get between us and them. A few other boats had pulled up but all maintained distance and were catching a few as well, just one of those days we were in THE spot and could have limited out with bare hooks.

He changed his mind when we started throwing shite at him and cursing his paying customers, sad thing is we would have given up the spot had they asked as we were limited out on large trout and reds and were just goofing around seeing what else we could catch.

I will not be shoved around by a shitbag who cant find his own fish though.

I am not going to name him as it was a few years ago but he is one of those who limited out every trip on RodnReel, LMFAO

Fishing on the California Delta and a rag tag idiot came next to my champion boat in his skeeter which was brand new.

He was so close his buddies spinnerbait got caught on my boat carpet. My friend said let’s go and teach these pricks a lesson.

We cranked the boat and hauled butt where the rod fell out of his friends hand. We dragged that rod which was a nice old school Falcon lowrider and reel was nice shimano curado about 3/4 of a mile.

I guess they learned not to throw baits close enough to someone’s boat that it gets caught on the carpet.

Buddy had a husband and wife due catching solid trout at lighthouse pt and one Sunday morning when a warrior pulls up close enough to tye off to his boat. The lady turns and tells the guy “we paid for this trip not you”, guy turned red and trolled off.
Birds are probably the worst time for shiteshows on BL since there’s typically plenty fish being slung but 98% have no clue how to sling them.
Had a family roll up hard on me Saturday and ask if the water west of me was posted (sign where is was pp down) and if I was catching.

Snapper fishing out of Destin with a friend’s dad’s 29ft center console and we were sitting on a spot having a decent day but not amazing on this spot or anything. Charter guy comes up in a typical charter boat and backs up to within 20 yards of us, and his clients drop down. They don’t catch a damn thing. Clearly it was a smaller spot and they just weren’t on it.

Guy comes out of the bridge and cussed us out then hauls out of there at full throttle, lol. With some women as guests on the deck of his boat. And we had been there first. I wish we had filmed it but it happened quick and out of no where.

Used to fish big lake a lot and quite a few times folks would run through the middle of the birds if other people were already fishing them.

Sounds like you are as bad as him.

Pulled up to a shrimp boat and asked to buy shrimp, they gave me a five gallon bucket full and I gave them a six pack of Miller Light.

Had a crabber checking his traps stop by me and ask if I wanted the box of flounder he caught in his popierre shrimp net because he didn’t like them. He declined the beer and told me good luck on the trout.
