about 20 years ago when I had a camp in Delacroix, this young crabber keps hauling arse right next to my boatslip where I had a bunch of people trying to unload and it put a crack in the side of my boat. I cursed him up and down and told him i was going to whip his arse. He pulled over at Lionel's (Serigne's) and got off. I met him half way and he started beating my arse to a pulp. I bear hugged that dude and ended up biting him where his neck meets his collar bone. I took a chunk out of him and he was howling like a coon dog. John from the boat launch came down and pulled us apart.

I saw him at the crab dock a few weeks later and we drank a beer and it was cool after that. I still had a bruises on my eye, but he slowed down bu my dock.

Im glad John broke it up because that dude was kicking my arse. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention I had been drinking all day so I was brave as hell.

I have heard a story about a charter captain over in Lake Charles getting it pretty bad from an oyster fisherman at the bait place in Hackberry. Jared I think was his name
Anyone know anything about that story?

I hadn't heard the story, but I am assuming this was the same guide who got him and his wife DQ'ed from the CCA Star tourney because of some sketchy stuff with her weighing in trout.

If its the same guy, he is well known for catching big fish but also being kind of a douche from the few times I have heard his name brought up.

You gotta be either really drunk or really dumb to square off with an oysterbaw.

Heard he was stuffing corn meal down the fishes throat for more weight. I really don't see how that could be done but he was getting bashed for it on another forum.

They call him the “Muffin Man” or “Jiffy”, never had to cheat but it is in his Adams Family values. Trimmed the tail on a red and got dq’d at the pt Arthur tournament couple years ago. Always threatening to whoop azz when called out, yep that’s him.

Same guy who got busted for spotlighting deer at night and shooting from his truck?

LINK

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agents observed a vehicle stop in the roadway, shine a spotlight into a nearby field and shoot at a suspected deer in the field from the vehicle, according to LDWF officials.

Agents were able to stop the vehicle and found Jared L. Adams, 34, with a loaded Browning 30-06 rifle, a handheld spotlight, and a freshly fired 30-06 hull in the driver's side floorboard.

Last time i saw him on the water was 3 years ago in that boat he has forsale. Not sure if the deal he made included fishing since he hasn't run a trip since killing that fake deer.

So you’re saying it’s a potentially low hour boat?
