Anyone know of a place to get a good authentic Philly cheesesteak sandwich relatively close to the Philadelphia airport? I’m landing in Philadelphia and ubering to Bucks County on Sunday for work and wanted to grab a sandwich on the way.

Ask the uber driver. They will have a recommendation.

I have no idea, hope a real Philly guy shows up to tell us where the real ones can be found

I think they have a Tony Luke's at the airport.
I have eaten at the Tony Luke's at 39 East Oregon Ave. Like 15 min from airport. No clue if it's the best, but it is really good.

Skip pats and genos, tourist traps. I dig jims.

I tried a few while in Philly last year and John's Roast Pork had my favorite. Jim's was a close second. I got mine with whiz and onions at Jim's and provolone and onions at John's. Get the roast pork sandwich with broccoli rabe at John's while you're at it, which for my money was the superior sandwich.

I had Tony Luke’s, Jim’s and Pat’s (maybe Gino’s) it was on Uber eats and i forget. Tony Luke’s took the cake. A friend of mine who travels to Philly a lot for work says the best cheese steak in the city can be found at the bar at the Ritz.

Same. Thought eating a Philly in Philly would be heavenly, but it really wasn't that much different from the Phillys I can get here.

Everyone told me to skip the two tourist spots. So far in Philly I’ve had Jim’s and a couple from the food carts. The food carts were better.

just like in LA, and our plate lunch spots, looks for local shops almost anywhere between airport and Bucks Co and your good to go....FYI, as good or better in almost every burb between pats/Genos and Bucks Co

YES! Definitely better than a cheesesteak. I like dinics as well.
I was in philly a few months ago and got a sandwich at paesanos that was amazing. Cant wait to go back.

I only had pats and genos, but I swear that jersey mikes makes a better cheesesteak than either. It’s probably that I wasn’t a fan of the cheese wiz and prefer the real provolone that Jersey Mike’s uses.

How did the cheesesteaks up there compare with places like South of Philly down here?
