Article says it’s an Atlas Air 767

Couple miles from the house. I wouldn’t want to be in that water.

Yes a 767 is a bigger longer range plane.

Your assortment of butt plugs is going to be a little late.

As much mail and other goods are air shipped around the world on a daily basis, it's absolutely amazing how rare these crashes are.

Why would shipping aircraft be more vulnerable than passenger?

I'm not understanding your question based on his comment.

The first video in the link is literally music and a screenshot of the SO twitter. Preceeded by an ad of course.

Willing to bet cargo pilots are more experienced than the majority of RJ pilots

Looking at that tracker, the route from IAH and MIA is all this plane flys. The altitude chart kind of tells the story. Basically started descending rapidly and couldn't recover. If it hit the trinity bay I guessthey were trying to make it to Hobby instead. Possible ditch in the bay to avoid hitting populated ground?

Atlas is not a “first job” type company. They’re typically a little more experienced than RJ crews, maybe a little less so than Fedex or Delta. Not true for every case, but generally holds.
