That's the brand i have and it is head and shoulders better than the faux leather in the lariat i have. Very little of the factory leather is actually real leather, more like pleather. The cooled seats eventually stop working and that's only on Lariat and above trucks with Ford. Wouldn't drive one without leather seats again.

I bought a 2017 f150 xlt that had cloth seats. I wanted leather but didn’t want to go up to a lariat package, so I had leather installed by CSC in Baton Rouge for $1000. Imo leather is a must, but you don’t have to buy a truck with it to have it.

I did similar. For the price you pay, you can get much higher quality leather for cheaper, by having a shop install aftermarket.

I have leather and would have a hard time getting anything else. Holds up way better.

And cooled seats will change your life in the summer.

Are you able to get use to the engine go from V8 to V4 with that crazy system?

Leather is easier to clean. The only issue I’ve had with leather is that, especially in Fords, the bolster wears out pretty bad from sliding in and out of the truck. Not a huge deal but it’s noticeable after a couple years.

There is nothing to get used to. You don't even know it's happening.

If you buy heated cloth seats, can you still upgrade to aftermarket leather?

Yep, I have heated seats and they still work just as good after having the leather installed.

Real leather doesn't. Most of what manufacturers have been putting in trucks for the past 20 years is a mix of leather and vinyl, but they all call it leather.

I won't ever go back to cloth. Once you get mud in it, it won't ever come out. With leather, it just wipes off. I have found that it's easier to wipe off on Fords than GMs. You should be getting 5-8 years on seats before the side bolsters need replacing. I'm gonna do mine when I get back home. I need both the foam, and seat bottom

I just bought one with a heated steering wheel, thought it was kind of overkill but damn it’s a nice feature.

I think I'm leaning towards the Ram Laramie. Ford really prices the hell out of those Lariats. If I decide to go with cloth and add leather later I may consider a Tundra SR5 TRD.

Those that hunt and fish, does the leather hold up over time?

For me it has; I fish a lot, not hunt. '15 Sierra so over 3 yrs now.

My Sierra came loaded. The 1 option that I never thought I use is the heated seat. I can heat either the back of whole seat and I use the heated back ALL THE TIME bc I have a bad back......this option just ROCKS.

The wife is so jelly I have heated steering wheel and she doesn't. Shite is awesome.

I also love my power steps. Will never have another truck without them. Makes the truck look better when they are hidden and stick out further and lower when they are down and out.
