Seeing all 3 with great college degrees making bank.
And, grandkids.

I watched my six year old play 3 quarters of basketball and rim out on every shot this morning. He was mad and I made eye contact with him from the sideline and told him he was good and to keep playing. He made three hoops in a row in the fourth. The hug post game is being a dad. And it is six year old hoops. Just for fun. And of course reminding him to look his coach in the eye and thank him.

I’m 26 and having identical twin girls anyday/week now. I’m extremely nervous/scared/excited I don’t know how to deal with this situation besides work as much overtime as I can.

Throwing the football together every day when I come home from work.
Always giving them hi-5’s when they walk past me (in any situation).

You know there’s a roster of GA soccer team online and tells their hometown ?

The best thing about being a dad is getting to make subtle brag threads about how good of a dad I am

I love the hugs and hearing "I love you". My daughter is now 18 and off to college but she will always be my little baby. I miss our time shooting hoops while we conversed about what was going on in our lives...so many great conversations around that old basketball goal.

My son is ten months old. My favorite part is how excited he gets when I get home. I have to sneak to take shower because once I am home he wants me holding him constantly. Also, when he gets sleepy he likes to sit with me until he falls asleep.

My 12 yr old had 19 pts, 5 blocks, several steals and assist in a basketball game yesterday as we beat the undefeated 2nd place team in our league.

I can't dance. I can't sing. But making a fool of yourself when your kids are little is one of life's great pleasures.

What's your favorite things about being a Dad?
Coming home to my kids. They get so excited when I walk in after a long day. If I could give any advice, though, it would be to not take any moment with your kids lightly.
I had one of mine born while I was on deployment and it was the hardest year of my life by far. I’ll never forget meeting my child for the first time at almost one years old.
Never take the time you have with them for granted.

My favorite thing is committing to attending a 5yo kids birthday party that just happens to start at the same time as kickoff of the Saints game! While you baws will be grilling and putting back a few cold ones, I’ll proudly be watching Brayden and Kensleigh destroy fun jumps and obstacle courses. Sigh.
Drink one for me!

My kipper is just south of 1 years old. And my favorite thing is hearing her natural unctrollable giggle right now

Being able to relive your own childhood in a way.
Playing games. Playing with waterguns. Blowing bubbles. Running through the sprinkler. Going bluegill fishing with worms that you dug up yourself, under a red and white plastic bobber on a zebco reel. Going trick-or-treating. Christmas being magical and mystical. Him seeing an Auburn shirt at the grocery store and yelling "Auburn Sucks!" and me having to turn around and go down another aisle.
Mine is almost four.

They don't come with an instruction manual. You kind of figure it out as you go

My five-year-old son decided that he was a Chiefs fan a couple years ago. We moved to Northwest Arkansas in August 2017 and before we had DIRECTV all he could watch was preseason Chiefs football. He is really excited about the game today although I think he is going to be disappointed.
