I saw a Sea Pro with the same color scheme on a tandem trailer today around 2 headed west on HWY 190 @ Juban in Denham Springs today. I can't remember what engine it had, but it was a white truck that was pulling it. I know because he swerved around me and I thought he was going to clip me.

it’s stripped bare. They even took my stainless cup holders/rod holders, on board chargers, batteries, speakers, stereo, vhf, spare tire, etc.

Only things left are the hull and trailer.

Damn if I was up I would’ve taken a ride over with you. Only like 3 blocks away from you. Don’t know whether or not to be happy you found it

So how does this work with insurance. Will they give you the full amount less a trailer and hull cost or do they look at as ‘totaled’ like a car.

define the meaning of the word 'boat'

JK - great news, hope its in 1 piece, or few enough to get it back together.

ETA - scratch all that, i would've rather it not been found

Hopefully the insurance co. has given you a check and it’s not your boat anymore.

not sure. I’m hoping they give me the policy limits and let me keep the hull and trailer so I can sell them.

Speaking of. What’s a 2003 sea pro SV2100cc hull and single ankle magic tilt trailer worth?

Usually with boats they give you your purchased coverage. The own the hull and trailer but you have first rights to buy the salvage

You can receive policy limits (Insured Value)

or you can keep boat/trailer and take reduced amount for residual value

I don't think you will be receiving both. Unless the carrier chooses that the left over hull and trailer are not worth fooling with. I imagine that there will be a negotiation in your future. Just remember that the carrier won't want to frick with the hull and trailer unless you are unwilling to take any reduced amount.

I think it was underinsured and the stolen parts are worth the insured limits. Maybe they will agree and let me keep the rest
