What's the best Chinese restaurant you've been to?

A random bucket list item for me is to try some higher end Chinese places
Unfortunately most cities don't have great Chinese options so I'd have to imagine this will have to happen in a big city somewhere.

I suppose it doesn't necessarily have to be expensive. Just something other than the typical panda express type places
I went to a place in Chesapeake, VA called Judy's that was very enjoyable and at a normal price point.

This place is a step up from a hole in the wall, but the food is incredible. Amazing dumplings.

Lucky Palace is fantastic.
Mission Chinese in San Fran up there for me. Jung’s Yellow Menu on a good night.
Trey Yuen Mandeville in the 90s.
The Duck and Rice in London.
All time favorite Chinese, really Szechuan, dish is Ma Po Tofu.

We were in Seattle in May and went to Chinatown-International district and had some of the best Chinese food I can remember.

R&G lounge in San Francisco. Peking duck, whole salt and pepper Dungeness crab, steamed clams with egg, abalone with mustard greens were the star dishes but everything else we had was excellent as well. They have the typical huge round tables with a lazy Susan and everything is eaten family style.
Atlanta has some excellent authentic Chinese as well. dumplings at northern China eatery, hand pulled noodles at Lan Zhou, dim sum at oriental pearl. All very very good

Went on a Sunday afternoon after day drinking. Pretty empty.
Sat at the corner of the kitchen bar talking with the owner(s?) and let them bring us dishes. While not anything high-end, that was a damn fine and fun experience.

Back in the 80’s, Tre Yen in Hammond. The place was 5-Star and unbelievable. In about 91, they started a buffet, and went downhill quick.
