What’s your favorite thing about Christmas time now that you’re older?

Mine has got to be watching the magic unfold within the eyes of my 3-year old while running through Christmas light displays with a laugh from deep within his belly. I’m talking one of those pure laughs that is so innocent and pure that only a child can produce. It’s enough to make me feel a sense of pure happiness and feel the magic of Christmas time once again, even if it’s iust for a moment.

Actually going to my parents and staying at their house.

I used to always go out and stay somewhere else after the bars. Slept until 3 pm on Thanksgiving of my senior year in college and decided I never wanted to be looked at by my parents like they did when I rolled in after the meal.

The company of family .

My dad passed away 4 years ago, the day after Christmas.

Now that I’m older I make sure to cherish time spent w/ mom, brothers and the rest of the family.

As a Christian, remembering why we celebrate Christmas

The games we all play on Christmas eve. Seeing how excited the kids get. The food.

I don’t have any kids yet. So, I would say that I enjoy the nights out with my girlfriend. And being able to eat 8 meals in two days from visiting all the family gatherings.
