Joe Rogan has a podcast where he talks about men and women fighting. Apparently he's seen plenty sparring and grappling sessions between men and women in his experience. He says a guy with a minimum amount of training will beat most professional female fighters simply based on strength and athleticism especially because of striking. He did say there were exceptions though
I think Joe is right...

Just for discussion, Rousey is 5’7’, 135 lbs.
Except that I’d get tired too quickly, I could take her.
I’ve trained with police women in defensive tactics. Women just cannot generate the same amount of power as men.

Average American male is fat, out of shape and has never been in a fight, much less possesses any fight training.
Avg male would get their arse beat.
Trained fat man wins.
Untrained in-shape man has a chance.
Trained in shape man crushes.

To me it depends what we mean by average man.
Pulling an average (not obese, not trained fighter) off the street on the way to work and asking him to beat a woman who fights for a living seems like a tall task.
It changes for me if we're talking about some amateur MMA fighter who could never compete on any serious level on the men's side, just as is the case when you're talking about a half-decent HS boys team smashing a top women's CBB team. I have no doubt that a reasonably fit guy who brawls a little or has some training could hang in there, but I have no confidence a guy who got into a school yard fight once and is now an accountant could do so, if that makes sense.

I'm 5'8'' and 175 lbs. My experience of a few years of karate before I was 10 and about a year of taekwondo, so I would say little to no fighting experience, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt she would beat the shite out of me unless I somehow got lucky with 1 punch and knocked her out.

Doubt it. She could beat them easily with a wristlock or something similar that they weren't prepared for.

This. I know the OT is full of badasses, but think about the average male you deal with on a day to day basis. They aren't in shape, don't have the cardiovascular endurance to fight, and probably haven't thrown a punch since they were a teenager.

someone posted a video on here a few years back of Dak Prescott getting his arse beat at some black spring break thing, she could probably beat his arse, he wasn't even trying to fight back, dude was smaller than him too

I’d pull out a gun and shoot her........: I win!!

if we're talking a "fight," not a match, I'll take the average size, somewhat in shape dude, real "fights" don't last that long.

1. She is 5'7" 135#s
2. The average male is roughly 5'10" and 195#s.
3. The average male has 20-30 percent more muscle pound for pound.
An average male with just a little bit of training would beat her arse.

The question is can a 135 lb woman generate enough power to knock a guy out? Not talking a kick in the nuts, but landing one on the jaw. If she can do that, she has an excellent chance because an untrained guy won't be able to block it. If a guy shrugs off her best punch, she's in trouble.
a 135lb male fighter can easily knock out a bigger guy. I just don't know whether a female can. That leaves her trying to execute a chock or lock, which is also problematic against a stronger opponent, even one who's less skilled.

The guys would probably win. Apparently Ronda Rousey has a lot of trouble with 115 lb woman.

Rhonda can't take a punch. So the question is: How good are your friends a punching people in the nose?
Also of question: Can your friends punch Rhonda in the nose before she grabs a hold of them - because average guy is not going to escape a trained Judo artist

I doubt she'd stand with a guy. She struggled standing.
I do think an average sized guy with no idea how to defend submissions would get tapped. If you get someone in a submission, they can be way stronger and not be able to power out.
The average, untrained guy is a way worse fighter than he thinks he is, IMO. I did a little BJJ training and was shocked at how easily much smaller people would submit me. I had 50 lb and was in decent shape and it made zero difference.
