Pieced together from various sources, but two actual well sourced posters here have confirmed. Not named DALSU or tenth tiger, 20th tiger, etc.

If he is brought in, I wonder if he will be a coach or an analyst. As an analyst, he would not be able to work directly with the QBs to provide instruction.

it's the o-line/game plan(mastery and execution) and scheme-play design. Let's face it the players could be better but the coaching could make what they have now a lot better.
It's really amazing that we have so many experts that post here. The posters here can see things that long-time NFL veterans can't.

Johnson camped at LSU last summer and left Baton Rouge with an offer. Former offensive coordinator Matt Canada was leading the Tigers' charge for the 4-star passer, but the baton has since been passed along to Steve Ensminger, who has forged a strong bond with Johnson and his father, and impressed both with his offensive scheme.

Seems like he’s pretty good at instructing. Probably way easier for a college kid to pick a lot of that up than an 8th grader.

At this point in time, I have to believe that bringing Sean on cannot make us any worse. I will be for anything different and the addition of Tee Martin over Jerry Sullivan would be fine with me and maybe he can also input on the Offense. Again, anything , I dont care of it is Vlad the Impaler will be better than what we have now.

We've been down this path before. Even TBL was saying last year that it wasn't Ensminger until it was.

Salisbury is on record saying nothing is wrong with Ensminger’s scheme, he just needs to modernize it especially the the route concepts and he says he can definitely fix that.

That's fine. I just don't think anybody should get their hopes up thinking LSU's going to turn it around from a 104th ranked offense to anything approaching a top 40 with zero change in offensive coordinator or scheme. Maybe they improve to like #63 or something like that.
You might want to update your doom and gloom stats. LSU is #76 in Total Offense, not 104. Improving 50 yds/game puts us in Top 20 range. Now we need 200 yds/game to get Top 10 but that is not absolutely necessary. ND is like 27 I think.

Salisbury played with Brad Johnson in Minnesota. Could Johnson's kid committing have something to do with Sean coming here?

Right about route concepts
Posted on 11/30/18 at 9:44 am to NamariTiger
The center hikes the ball to the quarterback and I try to tackle him, unless he gives to ball to someone else and then I try to tackle that guy.

I don’t like his teaching style. Long winded, not pointed, scrambled. How’s an 8th grader supposed to process all that

I do know this should not be our coach at the crucial defensive line position.

So answer me a question, did you think the scheme/play design/playcalling was good against bama and Florida? I've said many times on here their routes/route combos were terrible and all of those factors (scheme, playcalling, route combos are intertwined).

The WR coach will be gone, along with the WR coach that coached the WR coach.
So SS to coach the QB, fine, all for that!
Then a new WR coach, gotta fill that void.
Expect more of the same!
I'll go on record right now, LSU will have the 68th-72nd ranked offense next year and 7-9th offense in SEC. Thanks, Ga Southern, NW State, Vandy, Utah State. LSU will struggle to have any identity on offense, but will slightly improve from this year. SE will get new contract.

7 overtimes put lipstick on a pig.
Points wise it 7 more drives starting from the 25, which you may not even have 7 trips I side The 30 in a whole game.
Yards wise it was another 125 yards st least.
Which jumped us from the 80s
This offense was atrocious all year.
We are still 63rd in TDS with 5 TDS in overtime vs A&M.
In regulation we were shite.

Especially when almost everyone returns on offense. Joe is a first year starter n a conf full of NFL talent on D. The Oline will improve hopefully a lot and will be full of JR n SR’s. Hines will be a sophomore but he is a stud imo. We need Magee and Dare to step up at RT and Austin move inside. Charles has shown that he can be very good. I don’t think he was the same after his injury. He missed two games I think and after that struggled a lot. We should see lots of improvement as most hit year 3-4 especially the big uglies. Wr group this year was not good. Imo chase Marshall and Jefferson have more talent and will be much more seasoned by next fall. hopefully Dillon Dee and Sullivan also step up and gives us quality depth. I think E should get one more season. His stats are horrible but personnel was a big issue especially Oline. His offense opened up some when joe was protected. Also we lacked a big time RB. CEH is improving and if we land two stud freshman backs like expected and our offense looks much more dangerous imo
