The Defense giving up that last Td drive is much more frustrating than the penalties or anything the offense did. the fumble by Giles is up there too.

If cole tract makes the first field goal everything that happens after that point is completely different.

It may be that TAMU would have blown out LSU if he had made that kick. No way to pin the loss on that kick. College kids will miss some 48 yard field goals. Some can’t make them at all.

7 !!! First down in the 4th OT and 3 crappy runs. Didn’t even take a chance to score and win. This is way worse than the 3 runs with 2:22 in regulation.

college rules, e.g. unlimited overtimes and called down though never touched by a defensive player

Any one of those would have changed the outcome. I’m starting to think God wanted us to lose.

Probably so we could scoop up a shiny new OC to take His favorite team to a championship next year.

We had so many opportunities to win this game in regulation.
The OT was a joke because we should have never been there.
The officials were a joke, especially in overtime.. all of them.
It was SO wrong. However, we will survive. God help them next year.

#6-LSU won the game twice in regulation so that would negate all the OT drama
#2-LSU had all the momentum at this point & more than likely would’ve gone down for a score & pretty much squashed a&m’s spirit
#4 & 7-No killer instinct conservative BS playcalling
#10-when all is said & done

I admire CEO, but losing control of the game by squandering final possession conjured up the ghost of Les.

Of all the things that went wrong in this game and the things that have gone wrong this year, Cole Tracy shouldn’t be even mentioned, ever.

His gigantic fricking balls and golden leg allowed us to score in the first overtime in spite of the offense shitting the bed with crappy play calling and even worse execution of said plays.

3,7,2, starters out, all the defense stuff. Throw the defensive stuff into a hat and randomly pick the order of the defensive issues.

I guess you don’t read the board often. There’s been numerous threads discussing this. They got the first down by a yard and a half. The line on the screen was wrong. The line to gain was the 43.

#7 and #3. These are the 2 that the coaches had some say in. For example, you don’t call for a muffed punt. And yes they have a say in pass rush but I give them a slight pass as they were dealing with several injuries on defense.

But #7 for example could have been the situation where the offense FINALLY bails out the defense for once. aTm’s defense was gassed and we didn’t try one pass play. I personally thought that was game right there.

#3 as well, but a little more understandable as they wanted aTm to use up it’s TO’s. But still no excuse imo...they should have tried at least one pass play to get a first down.

The players played hard...the coaches could have won this one for them with just a little more trust in them to execute at the right time.
