Neal was an absolute stud last year before getting hurt. He needs a permanent position - catcher - in order to get into a rhythm. Moving around to various defensive positions can affect your hitting....

I agree. I said before the loss of Kateri Poole was bigger than we thought. She had enough ball handling skills to possibly handle some minutes at point. The whole backcourt would be different and more depth. Hopefully Poa keeps it going....

The losses of Smith and Poole were huge. Team would have much better depth. Smith to rotate with the bigs and Poole could give some much needed minutes handling the ball. It is what it is... but it would have been fun to see.
Tigers playing well nonetheless....

Must have been unhappy with NIL payment.
Some of these kids will make more money leveraging their value in the portal their last year than they will make in the pros next year….that is IF they are able to make a team.
The combo of NIL and portal sucks bigly....

Based on this and if the wind is blowing in I think we go with either Money or Coleman to start. Then we have the other of these two and Herring, Collins, Dutton, Guidry available.

He looked huge yesterday on the mound. He was sucking some wind after those 2 put outs at first yesterday. This is not a bash on Bama. They were clearly the best team in the SEC this year but their loss to SDSU was no fluke. That team is Good. They are deep, they defend great and they have a good inside outside game on offense. I did not see many weaknesses. It was not like a last second desperation...
