Yeah right now keep Joseph and give cregg a little time to fix the line, let the rest go

It’s time we spend the money we swore we were by going cheap with Orgeron

I think Kingsbury at OC would elevate Joe's development for next year but start talking now to see if any interest exists there.

They need a real OC, and they need to let that OC take 100% control of the offense and hire HIS guys

Will never happen with Orgeron. He wants his recruiters first and foremost.

Sammy and Solo,

Sounds like M Joseph is doing his job recruiting. Sorry I am not aware of who is the lead recruiter for individual kids.

Seriously, thanks.

He was the only assistant on a one year contract. The writing has been on the wall.

Sullivan - gone. I thought this was common knowledge. Maybe i have been repeating it to myself all year??

T Rob - rumored to be looking for an NFL job. I am convinced that these changes are made waaaaay farther in advance that the average fan is aware.

Joseph - unless he reels in some significant recruits this year, he better update his resume.

Ensminger - does not want the position he is presently in. Personally, i am not sure he even moves back to TE coach. Analyst, or retires. He will agree to a small buyout, and move on.

TONS of room for a new OC to come in with his own people. Even without even mentioning Cregg. Coach O wants nothing more than to keep his dream job. He will make moves this offseason.

This is why i love the Coaching Changes Board....everyone knows everything, and everyone is wrong 99.9% of the time.

Yay!

I don’t mean to cast aspersions on the guy but what is Mickey Joseph good for?

How about Dennis Johnson? Why is "Meatball" seamingly dodging any coaching changes talk.
We went from 16.5 sacks from DL to 10.5.
Do we really think that Lac, Gilmore, and Lawrence were much better than Lawrence, Feheko, and Alexander?

Not to mention the fact that we have a single (3 star) defensive lineman committed for 2019 with the potential of all of our starters leaving and 3 players with ANY significant time coming back? It's not entirely out of the realm of possibility that Farrell, Logan, and Shelvin could be our starters next year..

First, in regards to Joseph, he gets some blame for the WR play too. I mean someone just named 2 players who he recruited.. Big deal. Get someone who can do both for God's sakes. LSU can't find anyone who can recruit AND coach WRs? Really? So we have to find someone else to hold Joseph's hand because he can't coach the position? I don't feel comfortable letting him handle the duties by himself.

Secondly, I agree about Meatball. I know O coaches the DL at practice some, but I don't think he's pulling his weight. Another hire where we don't go out and hire a big time recruiter/coach?

LSU has the most coaches babysitting other coaches as they attempt to learn on the job as any I have ever seen. It's staggering.

I like Kingsbury but he would have to commit to the run more and eat up clock. Idk if I can trust him to do that

Agreed.
Regardless of Coach Sullivan's age, I think it's time for him to leave LSU. We've all seen the WR's underperform all season long. Remember how during the preseason/offseason we heard non-stop how they were going to be the "strength" of our offense

Of the 3, I'd take Freeze, he's shown the ability to beat Saban. I totally agree that 100% control of the offense would be a stipulation so Freeze can run the offense the way he wants. Let SE go back to TE's, move KF to rb's coach and go find you a proven wr's coach. Possibly go get a new strength and conditioning coach also while you're at it. Tell EO to take care of recruiting and managing the daily operations and the game clock.

All good man. Mickey was brought in for 1 thing and 1 thing only.

Recruit New Orleans. He is the Area Recruiter for NOLA so he’s the lead recruiter for any kid coming from Nola. Secondary recruiters are the position coaches unless there’s some other connection.

And Ensminger was here for a while.

Krags still here too. Wilson git head coach job or he would have stayed too. He didn't really change it up all that much.

Henry got NFL job.

Refusing to hire one of 3 people is complacent?
