It would make sense, due to his age, that he would be a stop gap at passing game coordinator/WR coach. If he were to retire, it would clear the path to hire another assistant, which would hopefully be a new offensive coordinator.

Really, the entire offensive staff needs a shakeup.

He has to go after this year. The WR rotations were maddening & their performance was even worse.

Les shook up the offensive staff yearly and he always hired from the Michigan mud slop offense good ole boy network.

They need a real OC, and they need to let that OC take 100% control of the offense and hire HIS guys.

Briles
Kingsbury
Freeze

O is a failure if he doesnt hire one of those guys IMO.

He's done a fantastic job modernizing the route trees and getting the most out of the wide receivers this year. Substitutions and lack of drops were fantastic.

Another home run hiring decision made by the best evaluator of coaching talent and best hiring head coach, Ed O.

He deserves a 10 year extension Joe!

WR play was inexcusable. Time to bring in some new blood. Sullivan was worth a try, but it sure as hell didn't work out.

Not really true.

He hired Jimbo 2005-2006 when Jimbo left
Crowton 2007-2010.

Stud for 2 season only because 1. Krag got diagnosed with Parkinson’s and 2. We went 13-1 in 2011.

Then Cam till the end.

Position coaches come and go but only had like 3 OL coaches in 13 years
And Ensminger was here for a while.

Sullivan - gone. I thought this was common knowledge. Maybe i have been repeating it to myself all year??

T Rob - rumored to be looking for an NFL job. I am convinced that these changes are made waaaaay farther in advance that the average fan is aware.

Joseph - unless he reels in some significant recruits this year, he better update his resume.

Ensminger - does not want the position he is presently in. Personally, i am not sure he even moves back to TE coach. Analyst, or retires. He will agree to a small buyout, and move on.

TONS of room for a new OC to come in with his own people. Even without even mentioning Cregg. Coach O wants nothing more than to keep his dream job. He will make moves this offseason.

This is why i love the Coaching Changes Board....everyone knows everything, and everyone is wrong 99.9% of the time.

Would free up $450k per year.

K briles makes $400 per yr now, double it.

SE steps down and back to TE coach, pay him his money.

The fact that we have to have a WR coach for our WR coach speaks volumes.

Miles didn't hire Jimbo. He came in with Saban in 2000.

I don’t mean to cast aspersions on the guy but what is Mickey Joseph good for?

I don't think we'll see wholesale changes. Sullivan and Joseph are dead weight. I am not sure what to make of Cregg but it's not pointing towards favorable. Ensminger isn't going anywhere unfortunately.

Orgeron needs a monster staff and he doesn't have one. We appear to be lacking an ace recruiter other than Raymond.

There's a lot riding on this early signing period in December. The feces will hit the spinning blade if it's not all that and a bag of chips.
