The Brohms are to Louisville what the Kennedy's are to Massachusetts.

I wonder how pissed Brohm is that this potentially true news has leaked.

Aranda would only be interested in 5-10 Top10 college head jobs or to be an NFL DC. No interest whatsoever in Purdue/Kansas level jobs.
he was close to taking a lateral position elsewhere last year so i dont know where everyones confidence on this comes from

This leak works well for Wisconsin this weekend

He’s the highest paid coordinator in the nation with effectively an unlimited-term deal at LSU. He won’t take a job with moderate to high risk.
Wasn't he really close to taking the same job at a different school?

purdue is definitely the better job. but sometimes personal connections make people take lesser jobs. see frost last year going from UCF to nebraska

That was before he signed an unprecedented (for a college coordinator) 4-year $10million deal.
A&M’s overture and the ensuing LSU contract changed things for Aranda’s future. He’s now in position to basically cherry-pick his next move. It ended any chance he’ll ever leave for another DC position or a mediocre HC job.
Anywho, we digress.... Aranda isn’t going to Purdue. An A&M fan threw his name into this speculation tongue-in-cheek.

Whoops, I got Moore mixed up with a 4 star from Louisville that just committed to Purdue this week.
Moore going to transfer.

Is Louisville home to him?

Brohm and his family played at Louisville.

I wouldn’t have done it but I get it
It’s special to coach the team you grew up watching and played for and to have your family be able to see you all the time
He’s still young enough to where he could get them back and then jump to a top 15 job in 5 years.
