Played at the Ville...dad and brothers played for the Ville. Brohms are known as the first family of Louisville football.

Ok...relevant a better word? More exciting? My question is how was the fanbase during those years...since using a pic from this season doesn't seem fair.

More than football to this. He played there and his family is there. It’s his dream job.

True. I thought that after I posted.

I mean they were garbage this year. I'm curious how the crowds were when they were legit with Lamar Jackson and Teddy Bridgewater. I really don't know much about the fanbase.

Louisville has typically drawn very well. this year has been a disaster for them, so of course attendance will suffer.

meanwhile, in Purdue, they averaged 34k a game back in 2016 prior to Brohm taking over. I'm pretty confident that attendance in a shite season isn't going to deter him.

I think it's a mistake. Purdue is historically a better job than Louisville. Brohm should wait for better because a better job will be coming with his talent.

Louisville is his hometown, its his alma mater, and he got his coaching start there.

All the more reason to try your hand at a big program first. you can always go home after if it doesnt work out, but once you pick them you really limit that option down the line, look at Rich Rod

Also I’ll say these reports that a coach will sign in “xxxx date” seem to fall through like 95 percent of the time

Aranda would only be interested in 5-10 Top10 college head jobs or to be an NFL DC.

No interest whatsoever in Purdue/Kansas level jobs.

He’s the highest paid coordinator in the nation with effectively an unlimited-term deal at LSU. He won’t take a job with moderate to high risk.
