He’s basically the coach in waiting at LSU.

TAMU also ended up with a solid DC hire

You have to suck pretty bad for him to get canned with this AD, so it’s gonna be tough to suck that bad and still have the rep to take over for O

Believe me I want it, but I don’t see it happening given how far Alleva has dug his cleats in on this hire

You should be happy. UM will now get that 5star DE that's currently commited to Purdue.

he's in acc now.
The bar is higher than when he played but if he succeeds he does not need to ever leave.

1. Out recruit Kentucky
2. Out recruit Cincinnati
3. Out recruit indiana.

Yes he does.

Louisville is a job you leave. It just is. One way or the other.

Brohm should talk with Willie Taggart about leaving a solid program for your "dream job."

A coward for going back to the school that he played at and the city where his entire family lives?

More than football to this. He played there and his family is there. It’s his dream job.

Louisville should hire Stefan Lefors and fire him for Brohm for old time's sake.

This is not over. Not by a long shot. Rumblings are that the Dakich sources are 2 heavily connected BBall boosters who have no clue what is going on and told Dan it was a done deal to troll him.

I'm not saying it doesn't get done....if the guy wants to coach at Louisville...he'll be their coach. All I am saying is that from what I hear, offers have been made but there has been 0 discussion back to Louisville from the Brohm camp. At worst, Brohm takes the offer and goes. At best, he uses it as leverage to get more from us and stays and brings in the best recruiting class we have ever seen.

From what I hear, Brohm is more interested in the NFL than he is in the Louisville job. Still some bad blood on how he was treated his first time there in the late 2000s. Literally nothing about the move makes sense except the history. If the AD as a whole were in a different place he'd already be gone and there would be no debate on if he's leaving or not. There is nothing UL could give him that we couldn't except being where he grew up and played.

In the end, if he does leave....outside of USC I see us as the best job open and we would likely have our pick of candidates....especially after the relative success Brohm has had here winning and recruiting above our typical level. We'll pay a guy $3.5 mil plus, give him all he wants for assistants and have top notch facilities, especially relative to the peers in our recruiting base.

Also, frick Dan Dakich. This is the guy that said Steve Alford leaving UCLA to come back and coach IU was a done deal.

If the source was literally anybody else i'd be worried.

That sucks for Brohm.

UL is a shitshow right now. Between firing AD, basketball in the shitter, pushing out their biggest donor.
