You don't really feel it til you wake up lol
I got hit with a baseball bat. Jumped by four guys, and I was misidentified apparently as someone else. So basically sent to the hospital for looking like someone. Was obviously as painful as it sounds.
Had a massive concussion, broken nose, bruised ribs, three teeth knocked out and two chipped, broken jaw.
So recovery was an absolute nightmare. But the pain during wasn't that bad shock and adrenaline prevent you from really feeling it. Witnesses told cops about the bat I actually didn't feel or see it before going out. But it was all a big blur.
Also dentist are expensive. Jesus. Crowns to replace the busted teeth are not cheap by any means. Though it's been 12 years and they still look exactly like my other teeth so they did a damn good job.
End of the day fighting usually hurts after the fact I've found. During to much is going to fast to notice real pain. The worst thing is to get slammed though. Can send your body into shock. Especially if you hit your head. Never get slammed.

Never been knocked out. But I've been in that la la land where you have a choice of going to sleep or fighting through it.
Airbag deployed and drove my hand into my jaw. Hit me very hard.
It's a strange feeling. Shockingly similar to Snatch where he's underwater staring at himself. Everything got real slow.
Now I did get tunnel vision a few times. Got hit with a red stripe bottle just right on the back of the head. Just a loud BONG

Feels like a concussion when you get hard in football.. you see white, then dark and they you snap out of it with blurry vision... woozy for a few hours afterwards.. good to go again

I don’t think I can get knocked out unless it was a professional fighter

I got knocked out in high school in a football game. Got hit right in my ear hole. From my perspective, I was running forward, there was a flash of pain and sound, then I was laying on the ground with coaches and my dad standing over me. As I was laying there, the world seemed to move around me and suddenly I was sitting on a bench on the sideline. I asked the guy sitting next to me (my backup) who was in for me and he got pissed and said "For the last time, Josh is in. Quit fricking asking". Apparently I had been asking the same version of that question since I took the hit in the first quarter, and I don't remember anything until the 4th quarter. It was all very strange.

no. As part of getting certified in Army Combatives, you have to perform the clinch drill. Basically get your arms wrapped around a guy trying to beat the shite out of you in such a way as to keep him from being able to punch you any more. Have to do that three times. The purpose is a) to learn how to take a punch or ten and b) get in a position where the dude can't punch you any more. Then you drop him and proceed to break his arm or leg, choke him out, etc. It was adapted from BJJ.

What does it feel like to get knocked out
I was having a beer at a bar in New Orleans when, of all people, Bill Cosby walks in. I was like "wow you're Bill Cosby" and he was like "here drink this" and I must have had low blood sugar or something because I was knocked out cold. Someone was nice enough to lean me against the wall in the alley behind the bar though. I must have fell on a bottle I think because my arse hurt for weeks. Only time I have been knocked out I think.

Read through first page and of course, no OTer has every been knocked out. They only finish fights the golden glove guy almost admitted it but still he can’t come to doing it.
I got cold clocked in the side of the head out front of Reggie’s sophomore year, I remembered where I was pretty quickly and actually was pretty ok, honestly what fricked me up most was that I rolled over my ankle so I sprained it, sucked for a few weeks. It took me a few to remember that I had gotten into a fight and all I was trying to figure out is where the kid I was fighting went, by that time they had all ran off. After that the bouncer offered me free shots/cover to come in and that was it I continued to drink on.

I got knocked out once in a bar fight. Big parking lot brawl outside a bar in Cape Cod Mass. Parking lot full of guys brawling....about what I have no idea. The last thing I remember was a big ol' fist coming from my left side and clocking me on the side of my head. The next thing I remember was waking up and feet running all around me.

I've seen stars, blue monkeys, birdies, and been knocked deaf on the gridiron of battle. I can remember most of them, the one that stands out is the crack back when I was playing OLB, never saw it coming and landed on the back of my head.

Only time I've ever been completely knocked out was on a bad hop at 3rd base. I didn't feel a thing. I remember the ball right before it hit the dirt, but not actually being hit. Woke up 2-3 minutes later in the stands being checked out by what seemed like the entire ball park. It was like a cut scene in a movie. One second you're on the field, the next you're in the stands. Zero pain.

I got knocked out in winter park, Colorado. I was crouched down going all out when I hit a mogul. Seemed like it took forever to come down. Tried to situate my body but my momentum landed me backwards. My skis hit, head jerked back and boom. Lights out.
I just remember my mouth tingling a lot and having tunnel vision for a while. Ski patrol brought my skis, did a concussion test and dropped me off at the bottom of the hill.
