Also, BRPD has safe transaction zones for these very reasons. You should've had them meet you at the second district police station since, you know, it was right down the street.
This is good advice.

great idea, and this might be a dumb quesiton, but would you have to let them know ahead of time? Like are you allowed to just show up at the police station parking lot and transact business? I'm sure they're happy you chose to do it there for safety reasons but if someone is just peeping out the window and sees 2 cars pull up and a cash deal happen idk if they would be concerned about that?

Also, a criminal is likely to turn down the offer to meet at a police station.

The lot isn’t physically monitored by a cop, but it has cameras (from what I understand). And criminals are less likely to meet you there.

Did the ps4 survive or did it die on impact?

While I was holding the ps4 under my arm he leaned forward while handing me the money and push the shot out of me to the ground not expecting that to happen. While he pushed me down the driver pulled up and he passenger picked up the ps4 and hopped in and they drove off hauling arse.
Did you get robbed or just pushed down to the ground?

Has anyone posted a thread with a slightly damaged, cheap PS4 for sale yet?

This is not worthy of an update. Come back when you catch the guys or a cop goes rogue on them for you.

A true PC description.......

I've bought and sold shite on CL before, and I meet people in parking lots with cameras (or where they'd believe cameras were). I'm always strapped, and will bring a backup shooter most of the time.
Had one guy who was adamant about me coming to his house to buy a tablet from him. He had every excuse in the book as to why he couldn't leave his place. I argued with him enough, and his smoking hot wife came and met me at the grocery store to sell it. He didn't come for some reason. Great thing about that purchase was that I got to meet the naked chick who forgot to wipe her pictures off of the tablet

I actually lived at U Edge for two years around when it first opened.
It had the cheapest rent out of all the new apartment complexes.
I actually never had any issues when I lived there, never felt unsafe. Then, two weeks after I moved out someone gets murdered right in front of the complex.

Sorry OP! This will be a loss for you. The cops could care less about these things. As others have stated your lucky thats all that happened. People have died for less. Lesson here is if your doing online transactions always meet in a parking lot like walmart or public place something that has cameras. Make sure it is in the middle of the day as well. Who knows maybe you get lucky but odds are definetly not in your favor.

That has to be embarrassing to get robbed by being pushed down. No weapon or anything lol
The PS4 even fell, so they still had to pick it up. And you couldn’t even recover enough to stop them or even get a description

Cops can't help you
If you have SN they might can recover it later if these dudes are arrested for something serious. They will write a review export and wish you good luck. The only protection you have for you and your family is yourself. People need to remember that in every situation.

that’s what I thought when he said that

Walmarts has crap for cameras. Don't consider that a "safe" place to go. If you sell things like this, only agree to do it at a police facility. If the buyer balks at that, its a clue, and you are an idiot to continue.
