Lol. Why the hell would you sell a brand new unopened item? You realize that sounds suspicious as hell and furthermore you are asking for some shady arse people to buy it from you?

Something like a PS4 is absolutely an item you sell at the police station parking lot. Let me guess you also listed an engagement ring and an IphoneX unused?

If they didn't sell the PS4 and kept it for themselves, it will be hard for the police to prove that the PS4 they have is actually yours.

Police are not going to put too much time in something like this, but you never know. Either way, the best thing to do is.. When you sell shite online and you have to meet up with someone to make the exchange, agree to meet them in the parking lot at a police station. If they don't agree then there is likely a reason.

I bought it from Dirt Cheap and every purchase is finalize no cash back. I bought it for my son but he wants a Nintendo switch instead because his cousins have one. I was going to sell it and use that money for a Nintendo switch. I can’t find my receipt for it.

Is it possible they have a copy of the receipt?

great idea, and this might be a dumb quesiton, but would you have to let them know ahead of time? Like are you allowed to just show up at the police station parking lot and transact business?

If you do, they can bail early and save you the trouble. If you don't, they can do a drive-by and just no-show. That is if the intentions of the seller are to rob you.

Academy is right there next to that Section 8 area. Not surprised, they have stuff that poor people want, and some poor people will commit a crime to get it
