What if Joey B fits perfectly into E’s west coast RPO offense..
What if Chase and Marshall are the best duo since Odell and Jarvis...
What if Drake or Sullivan or Dee step up and become a nightmare mismatch...
What if Sahdiq is all sec at LT, Damien Lewis and Brumfield bully DTs, Lloyd Cushenberry is serviceable and Deculus reaches his full potential at RT.....
What if Klavon Chaisson set the new sack record...
What if Jacob Phillips and Mike Divinity live up to their 5* billing and becomes all-conference level...
What if Devin gets even better...
What if Fehoko and Rashard restore the once great LSU Dline reputation..
What I Kary and Kelvin step up and continue DBU’s legacy beside the best defensive back in the country...
What if Tracy is nails and finishes as a groza finalist..

I’ve been saying this all along.
This feels like the 2011 team imo.
Not saying we are running the table but I think it is going to be a very fun team to watch. Great defense, a new look, aggressive offense with our best weapon at quarterback possibly since Flynn and a schedule that brings out the best in a team (unlike all the pussies here whining about it).
Nothing you posted is unreasonable (other than Dee, just face it that dude never gets out of the doghouse).
And I’d add that our TEs are going to be deadly. E will use his recruits at his former position to attack defenses in a way that defenses aren’t used to or capable of defending.

Burrow makes this team much better. The WR group is very talented. Of course, the defense will be special with Devin leading the way. This team now has leadership that was lacking in the past.

The talent is there. The potential is virtually limitless. If inexperience and the coaching changes can come together, this could be a special season that could very well set up an absolutely magical season next year.

I love the passion...but you can’t replace almost your entire offense...including OC...and expect miracles. Let’s face it...we’re gonna ride our Defense for dear life most of the time. Ok...I’ll let you get back to your dream

The reason this season is exciting is that although some of those things are reaches none of them are individually THAT far fetched.
If just half of those things on your wish list come to fruition this team could be very good

By the way your HC has said on multiple occasions they’re going to run primarily 3 wide sets and RPOs.
What offense do you think they’re gonna run? Or is thinking too hard?

This feels like no LSU team I can remember on offense, mostly because pretty much everyone who put up stats is gone. Their replacements are intriguing and I could see things going well, but there’s just so many questions/ what ifs.
