Who will be the starting running back? Any chance Curry starts?

Our biggest question mark. The JUCO kid is hot garbage. Deculus has to be the guy we all want him to be or Burrows won’t make a full season.

Let's not forget halfway through the season when one of these two aren't putting up All American numbers and Old makes some dumbass thread about how a dline coach hates receivers that even the great Jarvis was a special teams guy his freshman year and it took a minute before he became the elite receiver he is today

I believe in this scenario. I think Eaux has our lines loaded and since it's all about recruiting according to many experts we are gonna be fine bc lord knows we have talent. It's just gonna be up to the coaches to scheme and develop guys. I'm confident in our coaches and their ability to do that

I don’t think it’s a miracle to ask for a serviceable Oline and good QB/WR play. Especially considering we’ve spent over 4 million dollars on offensive coordinators in the past 12 months.

This feels like no LSU team I can remember on offense, mostly because pretty much everyone who put up stats is gone.

The good thing is most of the people have at least some playing experience though

Sullivan, Anderson, Davis, Dillon, Moreau may not have exactly lit the world on fire catching the ball but they're not going into the season with 0 game experience

Add a polished Giles to that group and all of a sudden things don't seem so dire IMO

The RB situation is concerning but there is talent there

CEH or Brossette. Maybe if he shows out in games but O said CEH and Brossette are clear #1 and #2 going into the season.

You never know, though.

I went through losing to Troy, state by 30 and hiring Ed Orgeron and I’m still here.

How mad does it make you that no matter how many hissy firs you throw you’ll never be able to take my degree and I’ll always be an LSU fan?

Yeah, everything you wrote is actually plausible.

The hardest thing will be the serviceable OL, though. It seems OL succeeds or fails as a unit. If 4 guys bury their man, but one guy screws up, it could be a sack or tackle for loss, making it look like the whole OL sucks.

So, a little worried about OL. But sure, why not be optimistic at this point?

Don't worry about the OL. Eaux has rebuilt our depth there and we are fine

Yeah CEH will start early but I fully expect Curry to be the guy the second half of the season.

We’ve seen it many times, from JV in 03, Keiland in 06, Hill in 12, LF in 14, and even Hilliard in 11.

Freshman RBs can really take off later in the year and I think Curry fits that mold this year.

Adrian Magee is an OK tackle. Deculus has potential to be great though

What if Joey B fits perfectly into E’s west coast RPO offense..

No reason he shouldn't

Chase is the real deal and if Burrow is above average these two should blow up.

What if Drake or Sullivan or Dee step up and become a nightmare mismatch...

We'll see if Jerry Sullivan can get these guys to reach their potential. IDK.

What if Sahdiq is all sec at LT, Damien Lewis and Brumfield bully DTs, Lloyd Cushenberry is serviceable and Deculus reaches his full potential at RT.....

Losing Ingram for extended time will hurt. Not sold on Cush. Lewis will be good. Magee or Deculus need to step up.

What if Klavon Chaisson set the new sack record...

Record or not, QBs will fear him.

What if Jacob Phillips and Mike Divinity live up to their 5* billing and becomes all-conference level...

I'm counting on Phillips being all conference. Don't sleep on Anthony either.

What if Devin gets even better...

He will get more freedom to wreck shite with quality around him.

What if Fehoko and Rashard restore the once great LSU Dline reputation..

I like Fehoko much better at DE. We need Big Ed back or Shelvin to step up.

What I Kary and Kelvin step up and continue DBU’s legacy beside the best defensive back in the country...

They will be very good and benefit from a great front 7.

What if Tracy is nails and finishes as a groza finalist..

He will be reliable and that's a huge step up from last year.

We joke about Ensminger and O saying they have only implemented (insert %) of the offense, but what we forget is that last season Aranda was in the same boat. He kept the D pretty standard because they weren't ready to use the exotic packages and blitzes. White has said it himself. They have the horses now and Aranda is going in dry.

Aranda's standing over the SEC and saying "You tell em I'm coming! Tell all the curs I'm coming! And White's coming with me! White's coming with me!"

Calm down.

You started the dream thread baw

Seriously, I honestly think the only thing that could keep this team from at least a NY6 Bowl would be coaching.

The talent is there, it always has been.

The unknowns on offense could actually end up helping us through these first three weeks as Miami and Auburn won’t have a good feel for what we are trying to do.

If this is the staff to get us back to the promised land, no reason they can’t do it this year.

I think it's probably a matter of them feeling comfortable with Curry in pass protection

He may look great in drills and running the ball but you want to make sure he doesn't get your QB killed from a blitzing backer

Until he picks up the protection schemes he's likely to sit early on

Oline and rb are the big questions in my mind. I’m not usually negative but to have a dream season those two position groups have a lot of questions to answer.

You can’t throw if you can’t block. And you can’t win the sec if you can’t run the ball.
