Wife and I will be there this week and it's our anniversary. Don't have high expectations but trying to avoid tourist traps ( if possible) .

I don't know about how "nice" you are looking, but we always have a great time at LuLu's….

Big Fish

We went here it was pretty awesome. Damn good steaks and damn good sushi. The service was good....along the lines of the type service you would get at Ruth's Chris, Ruffino's, or something like that.

Big Mikes - stick with the steak

Jesse’s - everything good

Tin Top - everything is good - royal reds are excellent

Fishers - we had a nice experience there but not on same level as Tin Top or Jesse’s

King Neptune - was good last week - a ton of fried seafood but everything we ordered was good

I would highly, highly recommend Anchor Bar and Grill for lunch/early dinner.
The best Cuban in America and great handcrafted cocktails.

Fishers has been off this season for some reason. I've been three times with the wife/friends and I refuse to go anymore.
Big Fish is awesome.
Jesses is too far a drive.

Sunset Corkroom is the answer. Quaint and quiet with excellent food. Off the beaten path and tourist haven’t found it yet.

I have seen so many posts asking this question. There is one just like this one exactly two posts below our post right now.

In all of the responses we have provided in response to this question, including 37,928 from me alone I have never seen Hooters listed.

Since it is your anniversary, I would like to suggest Hooters. Honestly the sign out front of that location advertises "The World's Tiniest Hooters". I have no idea what that means because we have never been inside, but it is your anniversary so why mot treat the little lady to a special evening.

Fin and Fork. Opened in April where Wintzells used to be across from Phoenix West. If you ever tried Shipps Harbor Grill it’s nearly the same menu before they burned down. Best fish I’ve ever had. Great service and menu overall. The key lime pie is worth a trip alone.
